Sure Bali island is beautiful, but I was a little bit disappointed because I came there with a big expectation of crystal clear water beach. I didn't bothered, because the next day we went to Nusa Lembongan, one of triplet Nusa island in Bali. It took about 30 minutes by boat from Sanur. The return ticket was 130.000 Rupiahs per person. There I enjoyed swimming in clear beach, playing sand, snorkeling, go to mangrove forest, and saw sunset!

We rent a motorcycle for 50 thousand rupiahs per day (not including the gasoline which usually sold for 7 ~ 12 thousand rupiahs per litter) and go around the island. The road not really good and a little bit steeping but the view around the island is very nice, specially at the Panorama Point.

From Nusa Lembongan, we can go to another island, Nusa Ceningan through a suspension bridge. The bridge is quite narrow, only one motorcycle can pass at a time, so you have to wait if a motorcycle passing the bridge. It is a little bit far from Nusa Lembongan to Nusa Ceningan, and the road is quite rough, so I recommend not to use bycycle to do that.
There are also nice beaches in Nusa Ceningan, but the island is a lot more quite and empty compare to Nusa Lembongan or Nusa Penida.

At the top of the island, there is a mangrove forest. Sure we wont miss a chance to have a look. We rent boat for one round trip and it was 60.000 Rupiahs.

The next day we went snorkeling. Different from Gili where there is public boat snorkeling (a boat for different groups), in Nusa Lembongan the boat is rented privately. It usually cost 150.000 Rupiahs for about 3 hours around Mangrove area, 250.000 Rupiahs for Mangrove area and Wall bay area, 650.000 for Mangrove area and Manta point area. Well, if you want to get cheaper price, try to bargain! The price includes fin and snorkel mask.
Don't say you went to Indonesia if you didn't do snorkeling !!! *kidding*

I will say that Mangrove point is super! It was not too deep (quite shallow), not to far from the island which means cheap to rent the boat, clear water, beautiful coral, a lot of colorful fishes, yes, really perfect place for beginner snorkeler !!!
Well, I really enjoyed my Nusa Lembongan trip. It was just two months ago, but I MISS BEACHES ALREADY! Can't wait to explore other islands in Indonesia!
