I wrote a ngaco opinion about famous painter Van Gogh here. And now I want to write an article about another painter. This one is contemporary painter, Alexander Rodin, from Minsk, Belarus. I think his paintings are sooo great~! So, I couldn't wait to upload to my blog. :")
He has his exhibition at Tacheles. It was such a slum and strange place. But I'm sure you will immediately change your mind after you see Rodin's painting!
His paintings are so unique. Every big painting consist of small part of different stories. You can see different things when you see the painting from short and long distance. The interesting thing is you can hardly get bored, because every time you see the paintings, you will see new different story in different detail part! Cool~!

Besides these two paintings, he has a lot of other collections. Most of them are in the same color tone, but some of them, such as my favorite, Inspiration, are painted colorful.
The paintings are wonderful, and so does the painter. Alexander Rodin was so kind, warm-hearted, and low-profile. He said it is hard to be a painter in Minsk and decided to have an exhibition in Tacheles. He spoke good English and Deutsch.
If we see the painting, specially in Golden Key and Inspiration, there are many famous places. But, actually he never been there before! He said he just saw them (famous places) from the magazine or tv, and use his imagination to draw them. Super cool~! He said he usually finish one painting for about two years.
