Today, every October 9th, is celebrated as Hangeul Day? What is 'Hangeul'? Hangeul is Korean character. If I said Indonesian language is one of the most easiest language in the world, I will also say that Korean character is one of the most easiest character in the world to learn. Really! I learned to read and write Hangeul just in one day!
Hangeul has 19 consonants (Jaeum/자음) (14 pure consonant + 5 double consonant) and 10 vowels (Moeum/모음). It's just like alphabet. You can mix and match the consonants and the vowels to make a sound or word. Super simple!
